The journey of Greenskn
The Spark of an Idea
The journey of Greenskn began with a simple observation: a significant portion of fresh produce in India was perishing before it could reach consumers. This sparked the idea (in 2021) of creating a natural, edible coating to extend shelf life and combat food waste.
Overcoming Challenges

Developing a natural protective layer that was both effective and completely natural was a major challenge. Our team of dedicated scientists and researchers spent countless hours perfecting the formulation (over 300 experiments), ensuring it met the highest standards of safety and efficacy.
Market Trials and Success
After rigorous testing, we initiated market trials with local farmers and distributors. The results were overwhelmingly positive, with a significant reduction in spoilage and an extension of shelf life for a variety of fruits and vegetables.
